The snow might be nearly over in Metro Vancouver

This morning, there's still snow all over the Lower Mainland. And there may be just a few flurries on Monday (February 26) night, and possibly even a few more on the following Monday (March 5).

But in both of those cases, less than a centimetre of snow is forecast, according to the Weather Network.

This means that maybe—just maybe—we've seen the end of the white stuff this winter in Metro Vancouver and motorists will soon remove their winter tires.

Fortunately, the most recent dump of snow came on a weekend, which meant far fewer hassles for commuters and students.

But that doesn't mean you should put those boots away yet because there are 15 to 20 millimetres of rain in the forecast for Wednesday (February 28).
