Images released by police have led to an arrest in a high-profile violent crime.

On November 4, 2017, a young man entered a Weeds Glass and Gifts dispensary on Victoria Drive, jumped over the counter, and assaulted a female staff member as he was stealing cannabis.

He then collided with a male employee as he ran out the door.

Images were released yesterday and last night, a 21-year-old Chilliwack man was arrested.

Police have not released his name.
