A 34-year-old woman is being sought by Vancouver police in connection with the disappearance of a nine-year-old boy.

According to a VPD news release, Shawana Chaudhary has allegedly abucted her son, Emerson Cusworth, in violation of a court-imposed custody order.

She might be travelling with two children, including her six-year-old daughter, as well as one or two dogs.

"There is no indication that either child has been harmed or is in imminent danger," the VPD stated.

Chaudhary is described as being 5'8", 106 pounds, with long dark hair and dark eyes, and appears to be South Asian.
