An experienced Squamish-based climber still hasn't been heard from after heading out to the Juneau ice fields last week.

Marc-Andre Leclerc, 24, was climbing the Mendenhall Towers with Alaska resident Ryan Johnson.

They reached the summit and were supposed to ski back down. But there's been no word from them since March 5.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for Leclerc's mother, sister, and friends help with the search.

As of this writing, it's raised more than $20,000.

This Epic TV episode featured an interview with Marc-Andre Leclerc about his climbing exploits.
