RCMP seize drugs and weapons at residence near Surrey school

      RCMP have arrested three men after a drug bust at a house near schools in Surrey.

      Police had received information that youths had been purchasing drugs from a house located about two blocks away from Earl Marriott Secondary School. In additon, the location is only a few blocks away from two elementary schools.  

      During the execution of a search warrant at a house on the 1400 block of 160th Street in Surrey on March 8, police stated in a news release on March 19 that they seized approximately 500 doses of LSD; 600 doses of marijuana; 700 doses of psilocybin mushrooms; 1,800 doses of cannabis extract; six pellet guns and five knives; and over $2,500.

      Three men were arrested and released with future court dates. According to a March 19 news release, the names of the individuals have not been released yet as charges have not been laid, and the investigation is still underway.
