Vancouver police searching for missing 26-year-old woman last seen in October

      Vancouver police are seeking assistance in locating a missing 26-year-old Vancouver woman.

      The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) announced today (May 24) that Karissa Koks was recently reported missing by a family member, though it is believed she has been missing since last fall.

      She was last seen on October 7, 2017, when she was at a government building near Powell Street and Heatley Avenue in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

      She is described as five-feet, four-inches tall with black hair, brown eyes, and a small build. She is also known to frequently change her appearance.

      Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911, or anyone who knows of her whereabouts or can confirm her well-being is asked to call the VPD at 604-717-2530.
