Surrey RCMP are seeking witnesses or video footage of two separate vehicle collisions that are under investigation.

In the first incident, Surrey RCMP responded to a report from a passerby around 6:30 p.m. on June 10 about a vehicle collision at 192nd Street and 16th Avenue. Upon arrival, they found two men dead inside a vehicle.

Surrey RCMP's Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) worked with the Integrated Collision Analyst and Reconstructionist Services (ICARS) to gather evidence and CCIT is continuing to investigate.

Surrey RCMP stated in a news release that initial findings in the investigation suggest the vehicle was heading south on 192nd Street at high speed.

The vehicle appears to have failed to make a turn at the intersection at 16th Avenue, crossed the street into the some bushes, rolled over several times, and ended up stopping at a cemetery.

RCMP added that they have since discovered that the vehicle owner had reported it stolen from Langley during the night.

The names of the two men have not been released but RCMP stated that they are known to police.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, for anonymous reports, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or their website.

Surrey RCMP are also seeking witnesses or video footage for another vehicle collision that is under investigation.

Around 9:50 p.m. on June 4, a motorcycle was heading west on 88th Avenue while an SUV was traveling east on 88th Avenue. When the SUV made a left turn on 126th Street, the two collided.

While the SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, the 24-year-old motorcycle driver was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but later died.

Anyone who witnessed or has video of the vehicles prior to or during the collision is asked to contact Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
