Vancouver police are offering few details about a murder last night in East Vancouver.

A man was found with gunshot wounds near the coner of Nanaimo and Cambridge streets.

He was taken to hospital where he died from his wounds.

Police are calling this a "targeted shooting" and don't believe there is any risk to the public. No names have been released.

It's the 12th murder of the year in Vancouver.
