Toronto hit-and-run suspect wanted on Canada-wide warrant may be in Vancouver

      Police are on the search for a man involved in a fatal collision in Toronto who is now believed to be in Vancouver.

      On August 10 at 8:57 p.m. in Toronto, a 71-year-old man riding a motorcycle westbound on Brimorton Drive and a black Dodge Challenger travelling northbound on Bellamy Road collided, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist.

      The driver of the Dodge Challenger fled on foot.

      Marc Laurin, a 29-year-old male from Toronto, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large, dangerous operation causing death, and failure to stop after a collision.

      Toronto police believe he is in the Vancouver area, and that he is also violent and dangerous.

      He is described as being 1.7 metres (five-feet, six-inches) tall and weighs 73 kilograms (160 pounds), with a medium build and short black hair. He was last seen unshaven, and wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, and a dark blazer.

      Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
