Update (August 24): The Vancouver Police Department reported that Allan Graham was located on a ferry to Vancouver Island around 6 p.m.

A visitor to Vancouver who suffers from dementia and went missing on Tuesday was spotted on Wednesday. As he is in need of daily medication, the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) has reissued a call for the public's help in locating him.

The VPD announced today (August 24) that he was seen shortly after 8 p.m. on August 22 in the area of East Hastings Street and Slocan Street in East Vancouver.

Police are asking residents to check their yards, buildings, or garages, and also believe that he may be attempting to travel to Vancouver Island on B.C. Ferries.

He is described as a white male who is about 1.8 metres (six feet) tall with a slim build, short dark grey or brown hair, a reddish complexion, and a moustache. He is wearing a dark blue coat, beige pants, and brown shoes.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 and to remain with him under first responders can arrive.
