British Columbians are buzzing about an Instagram video of a fire tornado near Vanderhoof.
It was captured by firefighters during the horrific wildfire season earlier this summer.
"It threw burning logs across our guard for 45 minutes and pulled our hose 100 plus ft in the air before melting it," wrote firefighter Mary Schidlowsky. "That's definitely a first."
She noted that the flames reached 200 feet, which is more than 60 metres, into the sky, but that wasn't completely visible in the video below because of all the smoke.
High winds created the funnel of fire.
