The New Westminster Police Department (NWPD) is searching for a 39-year-old man who is deemed "high risk" and has gone missing.

Alex Lekei was last seen around 1 p.m. on October 13 near Coburg Street in New Westminster. According to the NWPD, he is believed to be in Downtown Vancouver.

He is described as a Caucasian male who is 183 centimetres (six-feet) tall, and has blue eyes, a thin build, a shaved head, and a brown and red beard.

Anyone who knows of Lekei's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
