Vancouver police and ambulance workers were kept busy again this weekend in the Granville Entertainment District.

Just after 3 a.m., a fight erupted between two groups near the intersection with Helmcken Street, both of which included men and women.

Three people ended up being stabbed and were sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening wounds, according to a VPD news release.

A fourth person had minor injuries.

“Our investigators are working diligently to piece the evidence together and are hopeful that criminal charges will soon be laid”,  Sgt. Jason Robillard said.

The VPD major crime section is heading up the police probe.
