Update (October 25): Surrey RCMP announced on October 24 that Sheyna McNabb has been located and is safe.

Surrey police are searching for a missing woman who was last seen a week ago.

RCMP announced today (October 22) that Shenya McNabb, who is a 31-year-old female, was last seen at 7:30 p.m. on October 15 near 95th Avenue and King George Boulevard in Surrey.

She is described as an Indigenous female who is 160 centimetres (five-feet, three-inches) tall and weighs 64 kilograms (140 pounds).

Although she has had blond hair, she now has short brown and red hair that is shaved on one side. She has brown eyes, sometimes wears glasses, and has a nose pin.

She may be in the Surrey area but she is also known to frequent Vancouver.

According to a Surrey RCMP news release, it is out of character for her to remain out of contact for this length of time.

Anyone who has information about her whereabouts is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
