4.9-magnitude earthquake occurs southwest of Port Hardy

Another seismic event has occurred just over 200 kilometres southwest of Port Hardy.
The 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck at 9:22 p.m. at a depth of 10 kilometres.
No tsunami warning has been issued.
On October 21 and 22, eight earthquakes struck the area off the coast of Vancouver Island.
That was followed by a 4.0-magnitude earthquake on October 28, which was closer to shore.
