Grief counsellors will be on-scene at Templeton secondary after death of special education assistant Nicole Porciello

      A suspicious Friday (November 16) night crash along the Barnet Highway has killed a Burnaby woman and left another man in hospital.

      The victim is Nicole Porciello, a special education assistant at Templeton secondary in Vancouver.

      Global B.C. News has reported that grief counsellors will be at the East Side high school today to offer assistance to staff and students.

      Porciello was thrown from the car and died in hospital.

      The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has begun looking into what happened.

      Update:

      The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has identified the victim as Nicole Hasselmann, noting that she is the same person as Nicole Porciello.
