Hells Angels full-patch member Chad Wilson identified as murder victim in Maple Ridge
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has released the name of the man found dead under the Golden Ears Bridge on November 18.
Chad Wilson, 43, was a "victim of homicide", according to an IHIT news release.
"Mr. Wilson was a well-established member of an organized crime group and it is believed that his homicide was not random," police stated. "IHIT will be engaging with numerous gang enforcement units throughout the lower mainland region that will be working to mitigate any ongoing violence."
Hells Angels were spotted by media visiting the murder site in the 22000 block of Wharf Street in Maple Ridge after it was cordoned off by police.
The Vancouver Sun's Kim Bolan has reported that Wilson was a "full-patch Hells Angel with the Hardside Chapter".
