Update (December 4): Surrey RCMP announced that Pat Turo has been located and is safe.

Surrey RCMP are seeking help in locating a woman who has not been seen or heard from for almost two weeks.

Pat Turo was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on November 14 in the 7000 block of 196 Street in Surrey.

She is described as a 25-year-old Indigenous female who is about 168 centimetres (five-feet, six-inches) tall and 54 kilograms (120 pounds) with long brown hair and brown eyes.

According to a Surrey RCMP news release, it is out of character for her to be out of touch for this length of time and both police and her family are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (quoting file number 2018-174119).

In other recent missing persons news also in Surrey, 13-year-old Irene Dan had been reported missing on November 26, after being last seen around 8 p.m. on November 25, but Surrey RCMP announced at 1 p.m. on November 26 that she had been located safe.
