Body located in waters off Tsawwassen First Nation shoreline

      Lower Mainland police are working to identify a body found in waters near Tsawwassen.

      Delta Police received a call around 10:30 a.m. on November 28 about a body off the shore of Tsawwassen First Nation.

      Delta officers and the Vancouver Police Department marine section have been working together to recover a body in the tidal areas on Tsawwassen First Nations land. The B.C. Coroners Service has also attended the scene.

      The Delta Police Department stated in a November 28 news release that they aren't able to confirm when any information about the identity of the deceased person will be released.

      Delta police have also not stated if they have determined yet if there is any evidence of foul play or not.
