Updated: missing 77-year-old woman from Vancouver located

      Update (December 1): The Vancouver Police Department announced that Kum Cheung has been located and is safe.

      Kum Cheung, 77, is not the type of person to stay out of contact with her family.

      That's why Vancouver police are seeking the public's assistance in finding her after she went missing on Friday (November 30).

      She was last spotted sitting alone in her 2017 grey, four-door Toyota Corolla at 10 a.m. near the corner of Ontario Street and East 41st Avenue.

      She's described as 5'2" with a medium build, brown eyes, and short black hair.

      She was wearing a maroon coat and black pants and speaks Engligh, though her primary language is Cantonese.

      Anyone who sees her is being asked to call 9-1-1.
