Cold and wet snow warning issued for Metro Vancouver

      Metro Vancouver might get hit with a smattering of wet snow tonight (December 7).

      Environment Canada issued the warning this morning.

      “Periods of rain or wet snow beginning overnight,” reads the forecast for Friday night.

      “Risk of freezing rain inland overnight,” it continues for Saturday (December 8).

      At Vancouver International Airport this morning, Environment Canada recorded a low of -4.1°C with a wind-chill factor that made it feel like the temperature was -7°C.
