RCMP announced today (January 9) that a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for 32-year-old Jory Wade Patrick of Burnaby, who remains at large.

Patrick is wanted after being reported to possess a weapon and to have uttered threats during an incident in early December in Burnaby.

Burnaby RCMP stated in a news release that their attempt to find Patrick in Metro Vancouver has been thwarted by his active effort to avoid police.

Patrick is described as a First Nations male who is 183 centimetres (6 feet) tall and weighs 70 kilograms (155 pounds). He has a medium build, short black hair, and brown eyes.

He is known to police and RCMP warn that he should not be confronted and should be considered violent.

Anyone who locates him or know of his whereabouts is asked to call local police or Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999, or to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
