Fire Chief Darrell Reid reveals a number of small explosions occurred at start of fire in 1900 block of Triumph Street

      A blaze in East Vancouver was brought under control last night without any injuries.

      Over Twitter, Fire Chief Darrell Reid disclosed that there were several small explosions when it started.

      It grew into a two-alarm fire in the 1900 block of Triumph Street.

      According to Reid, it was difficult to access, and the cause remains under investigation.
