Updated: missing 17-year-old female teenager from Burnaby located

      Update (January 16): Burnaby RCMP announced at 5:31 p.m. that Michelle Lowe has been located and is safe.

      A female teenager from Burnaby has gone missing.

      Michelle Lowe, who is 17 years old, was last seen around 8 a.m. today (January 16) in the 6000 block of Deer Lake Parkway.

      She is described as an Asian female who is 163 centimetres (five-feet, four-inches) tall, weighs 48 kilograms (105 pounds), and has long black hair.

      She was last seen wearing a black windbreaker, a green floral backpack, and black leggings.
