A search is on for a woman who has not been seen for the past two weeks.

Pierrette Nicole Joseph, who is 33 years old, was last seen in Richmond on January 8. She was reported missing on January 15 by a family member who has not been in contact with her for the past few months.

She is described as a female of First Nations descent who is 173 centimetres (five-feet, eight-inches) tall and weighs 91 kilograms (200 pounds) with brown hair and brown eyes.

She has tattoos of a cross on her neck, a series of stars on her right cheek, and a skull with a rose in its mouth on her left forearm.

She is known to frequent Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call local police.
