Update (February 27): Surrey RCMP announced that William Michaels has been located and is safe.

Today (Februrary 22), RCMP in Coquitlam and Surrey are seeking to locate two men from Metro Vancouver who have gone missing in separate cases.

Surrey RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has not been seen or heard from since Tuesday.

William Michaels, who is 52 years old, was last seen in the 11000 block of Wren Crescent at 2 p.m. on February 19.

According to a Surrey RCMP news release issued today (February 22), both police and family members are concerned for his well-being and health as it is uncharacteristic for Michaels to be out of touch for this length of time.

He is described as a white male who is 188 centimetres (six-feet, two-inches) and weighs 91 kilograms (200 pounds). He wears prescription glasses and has shoulder-length salt-and-pepper hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt with a red plaid jacket, blue jeans, red shoes, and a red tuque.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers, to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
