The New Westminster Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old woman who has not been seen for almost a week.

Tammy Jean Stewart was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on February 23 near the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.

She is described as a 49-year-old white female who is 165 centimetres (five-feet, five-inches) tall with blond hair and a slim build. She has a snowflake tattoo on her forearm.

According to New West Police Department Sgt. Jeff Scott, she may appear confused or in distress.

Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
