A Richmond Mountie has been placed on paid leave as Vancouver police continue investigating several recent indecent exposures in Shaughnessy.

They occurred near York House, an exclusive private girls school at 4176 Alexandria Street, and Shaughnessy elementary on West King Edward Boulevard and Marguerite Street.

The off-duty officer was arrested on March 13 and has been released with conditions.

No charges have been laid and the Mountie's name has not been released.

The RCMP is conducting a code-of-conduct investigation.

In December, Vancouver police warned parents after a man exposed himself to a student.
