Updated: Elderly man missing in Southeast Vancouver has been located

      Update: The Vancouver Police Department announced at 9:18 p.m. on March 24 that Jiri Zambach has been located and is safe.

      Vancouver police have asked for the public's help in locating a man with dementia.

      Jiri Zambach, 74, hasn't been seen since 10 p.m. last night.

      He was on Kingsway near Tyne Street.

      According to the VPD, he may appear confused and he needs medication on a daily basis.

      Zambach is white, 5'9", with a medium build and short blond hair. He was last spotted in a blue coat, grey-beige sweatpants, and white sneakers. He could be wearing a black toque or beige fedora.

      Zambach sometimes visits Central Park in Burnaby and Stanley Park in Vancouver.
