Updated: missing 17-year-old male last seen in Surrey located

Update: Surrey RCMP announced on April 6 that Shaurya Rana was located.
Surrey RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 17-year-old male who has not been seen for the past few days.
Shaurya Rana was last seen around 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in the 8700 block of 160th Street in Surrey.
He is described as a South Asian male who is approximately 173 centimetres (five-feet, eight-inches) with a slim build and short black hair.
According to Surrey RCMP, Rana wears glasses and often wears black track suits.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
