On Friday (April 12), RCMP announced that after two stolen cars were recovered and five individuals were arrested, two individuals were charged. However, today (April 15), a B.C.–wide warrant was issued for one of the two individuals facing charges.

On April 1, a car that had been reported to the Abbotsford Police Department (APD) as stolen was located parked in a Chilliwack lot. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested three occupants in the vehicle.

A 33-year-old female, Downie Dee Maccallum of Chilliwack, was charged with possession of stolen property and released from custody pending an April court appearance.

Then on April 3, another vehicle reported stolen to the APD was seen on Highway 9 near Agassiz. At the 8200 block of Eagle Landing Parkway in Chilliwack, officers arrested two suspects.

A 26-year-old male, Jordan Christopher Smyth of Sicamous, was charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000, possession of a break-in instrument, mischief under $5,000, and identity theft. He was released from custody pending a court appearance in April.

Today (April 15), the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment announced that a province-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Maccallum.

She is described as a white female who is 165 centimetres (five-feet, five-inches) tall and weighs 68 kilograms (150 pounds), and has blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone who sees her is asked not to apprehend her but to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Chilliwack RCMP or Crimstoppers.
