Cyclist injured after collision with SUV on Robson Street in Vancouver's West End

      A section of Robson Street was closed yesterday after a vehicle collision involving a male cyclist.

      Vancouver Police Department Sgt. Jason Robillard told the Georgia Straight that shortly before 2:30 p.m. on May 12, a cyclist and an SUV collided in front of Whole Foods Market in the 1600 block of Robson Street between Bidwell and Cardero streets.

      The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital.

      As of today (May 13), he remains in hospital and is in stable condition with injuries that are serious but non-life-threatening.

      The collision remains under investigation.
