A man who violently attacked an Asian woman in her 20s in East Vancouver is still at-large.

Vancouver police don't know his name, but today they released photos and a video of the suspect in the case.

The victim was approached at a bus stop on East 41st Avenue around 11:30 a.m. on May 25 by an Asian male wearing sunglasses and a white tank top.

She forgot something at home, so she walked away from the bus stop and proceeded down Earles Street.

This is another photo from the VPD.

After entering her house, she was sexually assaulted.

“We’re confident someone out there knows this man, or has seen him in the neighbourhood,” Const. Steve Addison said in a VPD news release. “If you know him, please don’t hesitate. Call us right away.”

Vancouver police released this video of the suspect in a violent sexual assault on May 23.

Tips can be sent to the VPD sex crimes unit at 604-717-0604 or to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if the person wants to remain anonymous.
