Toronto parties as Raptors capture NBA Eastern Conference championship

      For the first time in franchise history, the Toronto Raptors are on their way to the NBA finals.

      It came after they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 100-94.

      It was the Raptors' fourth straight victory in the Eastern Conference semifinals and occurred thanks to a monumental second-half comeback.

      Toronto overcame a 15-point deficit and took the lead for the first time with just 10 minutes left in the game.

      Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard had a sluggish first half but ended up with 27 points, 17 rebounds and seven assists.

      Once again, he's proven himself to be a dominant player against the very best team in the regular season.

      He electrified the Toronto fans with a slam dunk over Bucks' star Giannis Antekounmpo.

      The Raptors entered the NBA along with the Vancouver Grizzlies in 1994-95.

      Toronto will face the defending NBA champs, the Golden State Warriors, in the finals.
