Updated: 35-year-old man wanted for six counts of breaching probation arrested

      Update (June 17): Vancouver police announced that after a tip from the public, David Hynd was arrested, is in custody, and will appear in court today.

      Vancouver police are seeking to locate a man wanted for breaching probation.

      Today (June 5), the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) announced that 35-year-old David Hynd, who has eluded police for over a month, is wanted for six counts of breach of probation under the B.C. Offence Act.

      He is described as being 191 centimetres (six-feet, three-inches) tall and weighs 88 kilograms (195 pounds). He has brown eyes and a shaved head.

      He is known to frequent Downtown Vancouver and he may be driving a black Dodge Ram with an Alberta license plate.

      Anyone who sees Hynd or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
