Update (June 17): Surrey RCMP announced that Raqual Amaral has been located and is safe.

Police and family members are concerned about a 41-year-old woman who has not been seen or heard from since late May.

Raqual Amaral was last seen at 5:45 a.m. on May 27 in the 10700 block of King George Boulevard in Surrey.

She is described as a white female who is 157 centimetres (five-feet, two-inches) tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a red baseball-style cap and a red jacket.

According to Surrey RCMP, it is out of character for her to remain out of touch for this length of time.
