Vancouver police have several suspects in custody following an early-morning dispute between two groups of teens in the downtown core.

They were fighting over a limousine for hire on Seymour Street just before 3 a.m.

A 19-year-old was stabbed and is in hospital in serious condition.

Another male suffered a minor injury after being punched.

The groups did not know each other, according to the VPD, which said the incident appears to be isolated.

Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with cellphone video to contact the major crime unit or Crime Stoppers.
