Woman surreptitiously takes photo of SkyTrain exposer's genitals

On April 29, a woman sitting the SkyTrain in Vancouver noticed a man standing very close to her.

It made her uncomfortable—and even more so when she looked up and saw that his erect penis was outside his sweatpants and not far from her face.

In this era in which almost everyone has a cellphone, she managed to take a picture of the man's genitals, which was turned over to Transit Police.

Today, the transportation authority's police force released a photo of the suspect, who got off the SkyTrain at Science World–Main Street Station after the incident.

But that wasn't his only time on the system.

"He rode trains for nearly an hour between Main Street and Edmonds SkyTrain stations, which speaks to the predatory nature of his actions," Transit Police said in a news release. "The man finally left the transit system at Joyce SkyTrain Station."

Photos of the suspect's face were released today, but police have not sent the other picture to the media.

      He's described as a darker-skin male who's 5'9" and approximately 160 pounds.

He's believed to be between the ages of 25 and 30 and has brown hair, a patchy goatee, and brown eyes.

When he was riding the SkyTrain in late April, he was wearing glasses, a black hoodie, and black sweat pants with a white drawstring.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact the Transit Police tip line at 604-516-7419 or to send a text to 87.77.77 and citing file number 2019-7149.
