Cecil Hill wildfire grows to 2.5 hectares on Sunshine Coast

A small wildfire broke out this afternoon on the Sunshine Coast near Pender Harbour.
The Cecil Hill fire is close to Highway 101 and not far from Madeira Park.
It's grown to 2.5 hectares this evening and is still not under control.
The fire is believed to be human-caused.

Meanwhile, the Strip Creek fire south of Lions Bay has been contained.
It's about 4.5 hectares, according to the B.C. Wildfire Service.
