Vancouver police believe that thieves knew what they were doing when they broke into Lloyd Bruce Home Collections last month.

The two suspects packed two arm chairs, each valued at $40,000, into a Ford F-150 pickup truck just after 3 a.m. on May 13.

The chairs have gold serpent arms and police say they're believed to be the only two like this in Canada.

“Based on the information learned so far, it’s obvious that the suspects targeted this particular furniture store to specifically steal the two arm chairs,” Sgt. Jason Robillard said in a Vancouver Police Department (VPD) news release. “We are hopeful that someone will recognize these unique chairs and call investigators."

Each of the suspects was wearing a baseball hat and dark hoodie.

One with a slim build had white runners, blue jeans, a white belt, and gloves.

The other has a medium build and was wearing dark pants, and dark sneakers with white laces.

Anyone with information about this break-in or the location of the arm chairs is asked to call the VPD or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
