On Friday (July 5), expect some Raptor mania at the opening of a new store in Dunbar Village.

That's because London Drugs has invited Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green for a meet and greet with his fans.

He'll be at the 14,000-square-foot store at 4588 Dunbar Street from 1 to 2 p.m. to sign autographs.

Those who want to get in line will need wristbands, which will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m.

Like superstar Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard, Green is an unrestricted free agent.

The 32-year-old played eight seasons with San Antonio before joining the Raptors this season along with Leonard in the same trade.

The Twitter account for Green's podcast declared on July 2 that the Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Raptors are all in the running to sign Green.

Last month, the Raptors won their first NBA championship in franchise history, defeating the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors, 4-2 in a best-of-seven final series.

      Update

ESPN has reported that Green signed a two-year, $30-million deal with the Lakers.

Green confirmed this on his podcast's Twitter feed.

Meanwhile, Leonard, 28, has signed a four-year, $142-million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.
