Updated (July 11): Coquitlam RCMP stated that Shannon Mcdonald has been located and is safe.
In addition to a previously reported missing person, Coquitlam RCMP announced on July 9 that they are seeking to locate a second missing person who is also wanted on a B.C. Mental Health Act warrant.
Shannon Macdonald was last seen in Port Coquitlam at 2:30 p.m. on July 7. She was reported missing to RCMP at 7:45 p.m. on the same day.
She is described as a 27-year-old white female with green-blue eyes, short pink and red hair, and a pierced lip. She is 160 centimetres (five-feet) tall and weighs 107 kilograms (237 pounds).
She was last wearing a black and pink hoodie, black pants, and blue runners while carrying a blue purse.
Anyone who sees her is asked to avoid approaching her but to call 911 instead. Anyone who has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
