Abbotsford police are searching for a 28-year-old male who is wanted for a bank robbery.

Around noon on July 12, a male suspect entered the HSBC on South Fraser Way in Abbotsford and presented a note to a bank teller that demanded money.

The suspect did not produce a weapon during the robbery.

After the suspect received an unspecified amount of money, he fled from the bank and got into a taxi that was waiting for him.

Abbotsford police have identified the suspect as Lucas Daryl Bradwell.

He is known to frequent various locations throughout the Lower Mainland, but it is believed that he recently has been on Vancouver Island.

He has been charged with robbery.

He is described as being 183 centimetres (six-feet) tall and weighs 84 kilograms (185 pounds). He has short brown hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo that says “Bradwell” on his right forearm.

Anyone with information about this robbery or Bradwall is asked to call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
