Updated: 46-year-old woman last seen in Surrey has been located

      Update (July 17): Surrey RCMP announced at 5 p.m. that Charanjit Ludu has been located and is safe.

      Surrey RCMP and family members are concerned about a 46-year-old woman who has been missing since yesterday.

      Charanjit Ludu was last seen around 8:30 a.m. on July 16 in the 14800 block of 74A Avenue in Surrey.

      She hasn’t been seen or heard from since, and it is out of character for remain out of touch for this length of time.

      She is described as a South Asian female who is 163 centimetres (five-feet, four-inches) tall and weighs 64 kilograms (140 pound) with shoulder-length black hair that she usually wears in a ponytail.

      It is unknown what she was last wearing.
