Update: The New Westminster Police Department announced that Shari Heathen has been located and is safe.

The New Westminster Police Department is seeking to locate a 27-year-old woman.

Shari Heathen last had contact with police on June 13.

She is described as an Indigenous female who is 163 centimetres (five-feet, four-inches) tall. She has long brown hair and sometimes wears glasses.

She has a tattoo on her right hand of a skull and a tattoo on her chest that says “pain is beauty”.

She is known to use transit and frequents the Surrey Central and Gateway SkyTrain stations as well as Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Anyone who sees her is asked to call 911.
