The Vancouver Sun is using the words "Hells Angels".

And so is Global B.C. News.

But the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has only said in a news release that the man shot dead yesterday at a Starbucks drive-through in South Surrey, Suminder Grewal, 43, was "a well-established member of an organized crime group and it is believed that his homicide was targeted".

The words "Hells Angels" do not appear in the police news release, even though Vancouver Sun reporter Kim Bolan has identified Grewal as a full-patch member of the Hardside chapter.

Grewal was gunned down in the 3000 block of 152 Street in Surrey at 9:20 a.m. on August 2.

His car was covered with a tarp while police conducted their investigation.

Two men, Nathan James De Jong, 21, and Calvin Junior Powery-Hooker, 20, were later arrested after a vehicle was intercepted.

They're facing first-degree murder charges and they're scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Tuesday (August 6).

“IHIT wishes to thank the public as well as our policing partners from the Surrey RCMP, CFSEU and IPDS for their courageous efforts,” IHIT Sgt. Frank Jang said in last night's news release.  “Despite the arrests made in relation to today’s shooting, there is much work ahead for our detectives and partners this long weekend.  We need to speak with everyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting and for Mr. Grewal’s close associates to come forward and help us solve his murder.”
