A fraud investigation has been launched into a boat dealership and investigators are seeking to speak with anyone who may have been a victim.

Today (August 8), Surrey RCMP alerted the public that they are investigating alleged fraudulent business practices by boat dealership Breakwater Marine, which is located at 16099 Fraser Highway.

Surrey RCMP stated in a news release that they have received several complaints about the business since June.

Around 10 a.m. today, Surrey RCMP used a warrant to search the business, seized an unspecified number of boats, and arrested one individual.

Anyone who may have been a victim of this business is asked to contact Surrey RCMP or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers.
