Update: Langley RCMP stated on September 28 that Nicholas Sonier was found dead in Langley and that his death is not being considered suspicious.

      Original article:

A missing-person alert has been issued by local RCMP for a Metro Vancouver man who has disappeared.

According to Langley RCMP, Nicholas Sonier did not show up at his workplace on August 13 and 14, which is out of character for him.

Langley RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Holly Largy told the Georgia Straight that he was last spoken with on August 11 (he was believed to be at home at the time) and was reported missing on August 14.

He is described as a 32-year-old white male who is 183 centimetres (six-feet) tall and weighs about 86 kilograms (190 pounds). He has brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a grey 1996 Toyota Forerunner, which hasn’t been located.

Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
