Vancouver police search for 45-year-old man with possible gang connections wanted Canada-wide

      Vancouver police are seeking the public's help in locating a 45-year-old man who is wanted nation-wide and is potentially involved with gangs.

      According to a news release from the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) today (August 29), a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Romano Martodihardjo, who has been wanted since April 2018, for firearms offences and possession of stolen property.

      He is believed to be associated with the Lower Mainland gang conflict.

      He is described as a dark-skinned male with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is 165 centimetres (five-feet, five-inches) tall and weighs 77 kilograms (170 pounds).

      He is originally from Alberta and may have ties to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

      Anyone who knows of Martodihardjo’s whereabouts or who sees him is warned not to approach him but asked to call 911 immediately. Tips can be provided to the VPD at 604-717-2596 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
