Update: Langley RCMP announced on September 12 that Rachel Sky Fitz has been located and is safe.

Langley RCMP are seeking to locate a female teenager who has disappeared.

Rachel Sky Fitz, who is 17 years old, was last seen at 6 a.m. on September 10 at her residence in the Willoughby area of Langley.

Since that time, she hasn’t spoken to any of her friends, she hasn’t accessed her social media accounts, and there aren’t any indications that she has used public transit.

Langley RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Holly Largy told the Georgia Straight that unfortunately a description of what she was last wearing is unavailable, but Cpl. Largy also confirmed that this behaviour is out of character for her.

She is described as a white female who is 168 centimetres (five-feet, six-inches) tall and weighs 48 kilograms (106 pounds). She has blond hair and greenish-blue eyes.

Anyone who has information that may help police locate her is asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
